Life Insurance (Fidelity) 1-800-416-2363
- Everyone is required by Fidelity to update/change life insurance beneficiary forms even if you have no changes to your beneficiary (s) named previously on paper it may be wise to do so. You can call Fidelity directly or do it on line. If you do not do it Fidelity will follow the “legal” parameters” of next of kin. (spouse would be first; no spouse it would go to your estate) This will be applicable no matter what you had stated on paper previously. Take the time and do this!!!!
This has no bearing on the Death Benefit provision that is only applicable for Grandfathered retirees who have a legal dependent surviving them.
Other Options
- Another cautionary note is you can research other market options through the Medicare website or directly with other carriers, please keep travel in mind. Most plans treat care outside your service area as out-of-network, which can result in significantly higher costs. One benefit of the AT&T Medicare Advantage Plan (s) that it covers you seamlessly wherever you travel.
Payment Options for Plans
- Any benefit plan charges that come directly from AT&T such a medical premiums or Care Plus will be deducted from pension checks, or personal accounts as direct payments monthly.
