Happy Holidays • December 2020

Happy Holidays • December 2020

As we move toward the year-end holidays, I wanted to take few moments to wish each of you “good tidings” from yourSRA Board of Directors.

There is no doubt that due to COVID-19, 2020 has been very challenging for so many families, houses of worship, businesses, workers, and charitable organizations.  Adding to the normal everyday stresses of life that so many face, it can all be quite overwhelming.

The SRA had to make a "first-time ever" choice for the well-being of our members by canceling the 2020 Holiday Hill meeting and picnic. Also, today I must announce the cancellation of our 2021 Florida meetings, as well.  There is just no way to book locations, send notices, and plan menus only to have to cancel due to COVID restrictions. We optimistically look forward to Holiday Hill in September 2021.  That event is already on the calendar and we remain hopeful we will see each other then.

In the meantime, your SRA board has determined it was time to update and improve our web site (www.snetretirees.org). The work has been underway for some time and we are close to being ready to launch. You will see newer graphics, updated AT&T contact numbers, someAT&T forms, and timely news stories.  We have also added the option for you to drop us note and to request assistance.

Additionally, we are working on improving the login and password change process. At launch, you will log in with your personal email (no longer a username) and a common password that we will provide.  Once logged in you can then change to your own personal password.  We will provide more information as we get closer to launch.

I personally would like to thank the SRA Board; Bob Archambault, Claudia Zerella, Mary Fontana, Harry Green and Frank Pagerino for their advice, counsel and support whenever called upon by me or our membership.

In closing your SRA Board remains dedicated to you, our members, and we will continue to do our very best for you. Happy Happy Holidays and GoodHealth for all in 2021 and beyond.
